Know and understand the principles of operation of electrical systems and networks, power equipment of power plants and substations, protective earthing and lightning protection devices and be able to use them to solve practical problems in professional activities.

Dnipropetrovsk Regional Institute of Public Administration is a component of the national system of training highly qualified specialists in public administration and local government and trains staff for public authorities and local governments of Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kirovohrad and Cherkasy regions. The institution was established in 1993 as the Dnipropetrovsk branch of the Institute of Public Administration and Self-Government under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The main task of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Institute of Public Administration is the training, retraining and advanced training of personnel for the civil service of Ukraine. It is a regional institution that extends its activities to the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, 3popozhsk, Kirovograd and Cherkasy regions.
Students and students of the institute receive education at two faculties – public administration and management.
