General information

July 1, 2010 Kremenchug Flight College celebrated its 50th anniversary. As an educational institution it was established in 1960 under the name of the flight school of the civil air fleet. By order of 28.11. 1991 No. 231 educational institutions were admitted to the system of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

From 24.06. In 1993, by order 97 of this Ministry, it was renamed "Flight College". Now the college is one of the leading state aviation higher education institutions in Ukraine, and in the field of helicopter training it has no equal.

In 2003, the college became part of the Unified Educational and Methodological System of the National Aviation University and has now become its educational and scientific division. Therefore, the college is currently on the path of development and strengthens its teaching and methodological and material base. This allows to expand the range and scope of training, to ensure the quality of training of cadets, students and trainees in all areas of educational services.

Henceforth, Kremenchug Flight College of the National Aviation University is accredited by I-II levels of higher education and according to the license AD No. 034672 from 21.05. In 2012 he provides training at two educational and qualification levels: junior specialist and bachelor, full-time and part-time education. College graduates are awarded a state diploma of the National Aviation University of the state standard and a CPL pilot certificate of the international standard according to the JAR (pilot qualification). College graduates can continue their studies at the university to improve their skills to a master’s degree.

The College is headed by Honorary Worker of Air Transport, Honored Education of Ukraine Golovensky V.

Educational process

The educational process is carried out by an experienced team of scientific and pedagogical workers, almost 40% of whom have a scientific degree, academic title or the highest category of teacher. Flight training is conducted by instructor pilots and commanders with the highest training and qualification of a 1st class pilot.

The college has departments of flight technical specialties; economic specialties; distance learning, training of foreign students and retraining of aviation specialists; training and production practices and employment; organization, accounting and management of the educational process.

Cadets and students have at least 11 weeks of vacation per academic year.

Material and technical base

To ensure the educational process and provide educational services to cadets, students and trainees, the college has a developed infrastructure, namely:

two training buildings, a training center, an airfield with security services, a flight production team, an aviation technical base, a motor transport base, a medical unit, a library with a reading room, multimedia classrooms, classrooms, including Internet connection, art club with assembly hall, museum, gyms, club and stadium, tennis court, clubs and interest sections, canteens and buffets.

Out-of-towners are provided with a hostel.

Advantages of the educational institution

Full-time training is free.

Students of the Miner’s Film College acquire additional working professions (cinema mechanic of III-IV categories, radio mechanic for maintenance and repair of radio and television equipment).

A certificate of complete secondary education is issued.

Production practice (2.5-4 months) takes place in cinemas, sanatoriums, boarding houses of the cities: Yalta, Alushta, Sudak, Feodosia, Evpatoria, Koktebel, Mariupol, Novoazovsk, Berdyansk, Donetsk, Torez, in the settlements of Melekino, Mangush , Sedovo and also at the Artek International Children’s Center, where students receive a salary, have the opportunity to meet pop and movie stars.
